Biography
Vesselina has been tutoring the piano for seven years now and has worked as a professional teacher for many institutions in London and Switzerland (most recently at Harrow School, one of the leading independent schools in the UK).
She received her musical education in Switzerland, obtaining a BMus in 2001 from the Hochschule fuer Musik und Theater Bern, a national university specialising in the arts. This was followed by four years of training at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and the Conservatoire de Musique de Neuchatel.
Vesselina has further developed her skills through participating in masterclasses in Switzerland and her native Bulgaria. She has performed at many concerts in Bulgaria, Switzerland, and the UK, and has been a soloist for the prestigious Varna Philharmonic Orchestra. Her awards and prizes include the Second Prize for Piano Accompaniment in a national competition for the performance of German and Austrian music and the special prize for the best performance of a work by Dimitar Nenov.
